My work is about self-acceptance, about learning to be strong and unapologetic. Maybe it's an attempt to help us remember who we were before society told us who we should be.
We're all made of layers and layers of wonderful (and not so wonderful) things, and when we give ourselves permission to like ourselves, that's when we show up as our absolute best selves. When we can reclaim what beautiful means to us, there's so much freedom in that.
I'm fortunate enough to know some really powerful, inspiring women. Women who remind me I don't have to compromise for anyone, and that I am pretty much a badass.
“Diaso Fuerte” is one of those women. Maybe she is all of them.
