"A Restless Night"

  • When the reality of what was happening last year sunk into my brain, I found myself unable to sleep.  Out of that came an entire series of small, unframed works that were reflections of what I was feeling. As the series progressed, the work changed with my moods. This is the first of the series, the one that got me creating again. Ironically, it's one of my favorites, and the last one still available.

Art was a means of communicating without speaking when I was young and painfully shy. Figurative elements have always found their way into my work, regardless of subject matter. I want the viewer to see how the lines and energy I use relate to humanity. How we are all connected through life’s cycle.
